To our visitors,
Muke Pre-School is located across the road from the lodge about a 10 minute walk. The children are in school until 11am Monday - Friday. If you have any room in your suitcases for any school supplies you will definitely feel the impact and the excitement these children will feel. They are currently building the school so any donation will also be appreciated.

Having seen how vulnerable children are and lack of knowledge of education in our community, we decided to come up with a community Pre-School in March 2011. We came to realize that there was a huge need to Muke Village for Pre-School thus its birth.

Having the compassion and love for the vulnerable children who cannot pay school fees to the other schools, we sacrificed ourselves to the community so that we will be offering free education to the vulnerable children, the school is operating as a trust for orphans and vulnerable children. We have so far 50 children that we teach though it is difficult because of lack of teaching materials. The children are happy and enjoy being in class other that be in the village playing and walking around. It is a challenge because sometimes you have to convince them to come to school and understand the importance of education.

All well wishers who are visiting us can open their hearts to the vulnerable children by donating anything that they can to support the school. We are kindly asking for assistance of any kind to help us to run the school, if you have any educational materials such as tracing books, chairs, desks, Jolly phonics or building supplies you can help generously.

Since this is a sole community initiate, we are looking for sponsors to support children who cannot afford to pay tuition fees ($5/month/child). Thank you in advance for your interest in helping the children!
